The first main session of Epic Conference is now over. It's SO different. Part of it might be that I'm running on 2.5 hours of sleep (on top of the mother of all conference schedules that I've had these last three weeks), but it just feels so different. I know this sounds ridiculous because 1) I'm half asian and 2) this is Epic so I should've been expecting it, but I just kinda kept thinking "...there are so many Asians here..." It's a slightly out-of-my-comfort-zone experience, but at the same time it's so cool that there is a place where Asian-American students can come and grow in the Lord in a context they understand and relate to, even if I may not. (Plus is great having a bunch of UH students here!)
